Maths A Level Easter Revision Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

These four-day Pure and one-day Statistics and Mechanics Easter crash courses take place entirely online. Designed to prepare Year 13 students for their final exams, they’re taught by experienced maths teachers who understand the knowledge and skills required to secure a top grade.

During both courses, students will revisit key areas of study, strengthening their knowledge and mathematical skills while identifying and improving any weaker areas.

Our teachers will also work with students on their exam technique using past paper questions. While the topics covered in A Level Maths are universal across all exam boards, we use past papers from Edexcel for this part of the course. You can get an idea of how they present questions here.

In addition to our online classes, students will receive additional support with a physical package of high-quality revision materials. Professionally printed and bound, our tailor-made resources have been designed to make revision simple and digestible, both during and after the course.

Our Easter crash courses are a great way to take revision up a notch, giving students the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in their summer exams.

Suitable for:

  • Year 13 students
  • Students wanting to revise content
  • Students looking to improve exam technique
  • Year 12 students
  • Students working at a grade D or below

If you need help deciding if you will benefit from this course you can contact us. Alternatively, you may prefer to book 1-2-1 tuition instead.

Our Tutors

Hand-picked for their exceptional academic credentials and experience working in some of the UK’s best-rated schools, the teachers and tutors we work with are some of the most talented in the country. While each one is as unique as our students, their innovative teaching styles, engaging personalities and extensive subject knowledge ensure every one of our courses is productive, inspiring and rewarding.

Jocelyn S.

Jocelyn S.

Jocelyn studied Mathematics at the University of York before completing her PGCE at the University of Cambridge in 2010. As soon as she finished uni, she jumped right into teaching and never looked back.

Now the head of mathematics at a top independent college in London, Jocelyn is dedicated to helping her students achieve excellent results with her intuitive and encouraging teaching style. She focuses heavily on helping students understand theories behind mathematical methods and believes mastering past paper questions is vital to exam success.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Jocelyn you can find her profile on our tuition platform.

Tania D.

Tania D.

Tania earned her BSc in Mathematics and Management from Loughborough University in 2007. After graduating, she went immediately into teaching while also studying for her GTP qualification in Secondary Maths at the University of Wolverhampton.

Today Tania is an accomplished teacher. She’s worked at Bromley High School for most of the past 15 years with a stint abroad at Harrow Bangkok and a year at Whitgift School, Croydon. She has experience teaching key stages 3 to 5 and takes satisfaction in seeing her students progress onto A Level and beyond. Tania enjoys building a rapport with her students, nurturing those penny-drop moments, supporting them through learning pits and seeing them develop an enthusiasm for maths.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Tania you can find her profile on our tuition platform.

Pete M.

Pete M.

Pete graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Pure Mathematics before completing his PGCE at Cambridge University. After a spell working in a top-achieving secondary school in London, he returned to Cambridge to take a Master of Education in Politics, Development and Democratic Education, which he completed with a distinction. His chosen thesis topic concerned whether teaching and learning mathematics could aid the development of civic virtue.

Pete has now taught A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics in sixth-form colleges and privately for over 15 years. During this time, he’s delivered numerous week-long international masterclass courses to other maths teachers at the request of the University of Warwick – so he certainly knows his stuff.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Pete you can find his profile on our tuition platform.

Rachel P.

Rachel P.

Rachel has taught maths to KS3-5 students for an impressive 11 years, working across a number of schools in the North East. She has a real passion for her subject and her infectious enthusiasm shines through in every lesson she teaches.

Alongside her regular teaching job, Rachel lectures Decision Mathematics at Newcastle University. She also leads the Teach First maths course at Northumbria University – helping to inspire the next generation of maths teachers as they embark on their journey into the teaching world.

Paul W.

Paul W.

Paul attended Leeds University, where he gained a first class degree in Maths, followed by a master’s in Pure Mathematics. After taking his PGCE at Nottingham University (in which he also achieved a first), he taught at a secondary school for four years before becoming head of maths in a sixth-form college. Today his teaching experience spans a whopping 38 years.

Paul believes that teaching is what he was made for and despite taking formal retirement, education is still very much his passion. After retiring, he continued working, training new teachers, before becoming an online tutor during the Covid-19 pandemic. These days he tutors both individuals and small classes, using his vast wealth of knowledge and experience to help his students succeed. When he’s not teaching, Paul chairs a theological discussion group for adults and likes to try his hand at DIY (to varying degrees of success).

Yllka E.

Yllka E.

Yllka holds a degree in Physics and a PGCE in Physics with Maths, both of which she achieved from King’s College London. She discovered her passion for teaching while working in tuition centres across London, which only grew once she became a fully qualified teacher herself. Today she’s an experienced educator and has taught a wide variety of students from many different backgrounds.

Known for her friendly and approachable demeanour, Yllka has been tutoring online since the pandemic lockdowns. She enjoys using online tools and technology creatively to find fresh new ways to keep lessons engaging. Outside of teaching, Yllka enjoys baking sourdough bread, constructing Islamic patterns, and spending quality time with her two young daughters.
