Physics A Level Easter Revision Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

Our online Physics A Level Easter crash courses take place over four days. Designed to prepare Year 13 students for their final exams, they include classes taught by experienced physics teachers with an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to secure a top grade.

During the course, students will recap on the key areas of A Level Physics, ensuring their knowledge and skills are up to par and that any gaps in their understanding are identified and filled in. Our teachers will also work with students on their exam technique, ensuring they have the ability to maximise their marks, whatever challenges their exam may pose.

In addition to online classes, students will receive further support with our high-quality revision materials. Professionally printed and bound, these tailor-made resources have been designed to make revision simple and digestible, both during and after the course.

Our Easter crash courses are a great way to take revision up a notch, giving students the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in their summer exams.

Suitable for:

  • Year 13 students
  • Students wanting to revise content
  • Students looking to improve exam technique

Our Tutors

Hand-picked for their exceptional academic credentials and engaging personalities, the teachers and tutors we work with are some of the most experienced and gifted in the country. While each one is as unique as our students, they all bring their infectious enthusiasm and innovative teaching style to class, ensuring every PMT lesson is fresh, challenging, and inspiring.

Gavin R.

Gavin R.

A teacher and education consultant with six degrees, two more in progress, and a PhD in the works, Gavin is certainly no stranger to the world of academia. Today he teaches physics at one of the UK’s leading independent schools and is passionate about the subject, particularly when it comes to topics such as relativity and quantum physics.

Gavin also has a background in studying social and natural sciences, allowing him to bridge the gap between subjects and work in fields that accomplish this, such as space law and anthrozoology. When he’s not studying or using his diverse knowledge and experience to teach his students, Gavin works as a fully qualified lawyer.

David O.

David O.

David holds a BA (Moderatorship) in Natural Sciences from Trinity College Dublin and has an impressive 30 years of experience as a teacher and tutor. Specialising in physics, maths and computer science, he believes in the power of clear explanation when it comes to helping his students understand complicated concepts. He considers himself a lifelong learner – always updating his knowledge and skills, to the benefit of his students.

Outside of work, David is an avid experimentalist, applying the very skills he teaches to his own electronic projects – robotics in particular. He also has a fascination with blockchain technology: he’s involved in the Helium project, an open-source project to build The People’s Network, and he’s especially interested in the use of NFTs in play-to-earn gaming. He’s currently focused on learning Solidity, to program smart contracts for the Ethereum blockchain.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with David, you can find his profile on our tuition platform.

Afiya R.

Afiya R.

Afiya holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Sussex and a PGCE from the UCL Institute of Education. In addition to over 10 years of experience as a science teacher and tutor, she also works as a trainer for Google for Education and an examiner for various exam boards. If that wasn’t enough to keep her busy, she also produces content for revision courses and various science content creators.

Afiya believes in making physics accessible as a subject, adapting her engaging teaching style to the needs of each of her students. Her tech-enabled lessons focus on understanding key concepts, terminology, and exam technique – the ingredients for a top grade.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Afiya you can find her profile on our tuition platform.

Tom H.

Tom H.

Tom has a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol. After graduating, he returned to university to earn his PGCE, gaining experience teaching OCR A Level Physics and BTEC Applied Science at a further education college. Today, he teaches the subject to students aged 13 to 18.

In addition to teaching within a classroom environment, Tom tutors physics and maths at secondary level across different exam board specifications. He’s also responsible for creating PMT’s exam question video tutorials (for A Level Physics) and is currently authoring a book that coaches students through exam questions too.

Peter I.

Peter I.

Peter graduated from St John’s College, Oxford University, with two master’s degrees (including Computer Science), a BSc in Physics, and a PGCE in Secondary School Science. On top of that, he also has 20 years of experience working in programming and IT project management. Today Peter is an experienced A Level Physics and Computer Science teacher, working at a further education college and tutoring privately.

During his career, Peter has taught a wide range of students of all ability levels, many of whom have gone on to study at leading institutions. Whether he’s teaching physics or computer science, Peter believes taking a practical approach and doing is the best way for students to learn – particularly when it comes to problem-solving. He also has a ‘no stupid questions’ policy – given that ‘stupid questions’ have often led to some of the greatest scientific answers of our time.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Peter you can find his profile on our tuition platform.

Niru S.

Niru S.

Niru is a highly qualified and experienced tutor specialising in Science GCSE and Physics A-level. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from University College London (UCL), he worked at several engineering and finance firms before transitioning to teaching. This real-world experience, along with his teaching qualification from King’s College London, allows him to deeply understand scientific principles and effectively explain challenging concepts.

His teaching experience encompasses prestigious independent, selective grammar, and comprehensive schools, where he has honed his ability to work successfully with students from a variety of backgrounds. For the past eleven years, Niru has achieved impressive results and has helped many students achieve their desired grades, drawing on his broad teaching experiences.

Niru’s passion for science and his first-hand experience in finance and engineering brings real-world examples to his lessons, making physics relatable and engaging.
