Course Description

Our online Chemistry GCSE Easter crash courses will bring Year 11 students up to speed for their final exams. The two-day exam board-specific programmes include online classes led by professional chemistry teachers who know what it takes to maximise marks come exam day.

During the course, students will review all the key areas of study, allowing them to strengthen their understanding of chemistry, as well as brush up on any areas they find difficult. Our teachers will also work with them on their exam technique, ensuring they have the skills to take on anything their exam throws at them.

Alongside online classes, the course also includes a comprehensive package of original, high-quality revision materials. These professionally printed and bound resources have been tailor-made to help students get the very best out of their revision, both during and after their course.

Structure of the Day

Time 9:30am - 4:30pm

Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.

There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Since graduating, he’s been teaching for over six years and is the head of chemistry at a large secondary school in Hampshire. Rob is passionate about his subject, in particular, organic chemistry and how it provides a toolkit to synthesise medicines and materials that shape our lives today and in the future. With a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Anna boasts a rich academic background. Transitioning from research scientist roles in Silicon Valley to teaching in 2014, she’s found her passion in education. How do your online GCSE Chemistry revision courses work?

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.

Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.

All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.

When will I receive the Google Classroom link for my online revision course?

You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.

When will I receive my revision course handouts?

You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your online course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.

Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK. 

What if my exam board isn’t listed?

If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
