Looking to up your exam game? Our one-day GCSE Biology exam technique courses are designed to do exactly that. We offer separate courses for Papers 1 and 2, allowing students to focus on the relevant topics and skills they’ll need for each exam.
During these courses, our tutors will give students the knowledge and skills needed to maximise their marks while avoiding the common mistakes that will cost them. They’ll learn how to answer various types of questions, revisit key practicals, and focus on the skills required for methods, data presentation, finding uncertainties and more.
Jam-packed with mark-maximising tips and tricks, students will leave these courses feeling prepared, confident and ready to ace their exams.

Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Nirujan, currently serving as Head of Chemistry, brings over 5 years of tutoring experience to his role. His journey began with a biochemistry degree from Queen Mary, followed by an MA in Education. Through his teaching, Nirujan consistently ignites a deep passion for Science in his students, leading to their consistent success in exams. His tutoring method revolves around asking students a number of questions, aimed at cementing their grasp of abstract scientific principles. From Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, he skillfully scaffolds knowledge, supplementing discussions with targeted exam question practice tailored to the relevant exam board. Additionally, Nirujan devotes time to refining students’ exam techniques, empowering them to confidently tackle exam questions.

Deepika holds a master’s degree in Chemistry with a specialisation in Physical Chemistry. She’s been a qualified science teacher and tutor for over seven years, teaching biology, chemistry and physics to students up to GCSE level. During this time, she’s gained an in-depth knowledge of the AQA syllabus as well as the newer GCSE (9-1) science curriculum.
Deepika has an infectious passion for science and finds nothing more rewarding than sharing her knowledge and helping her students to succeed. She believes in the importance of exam technique and maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment, tailoring her teaching style to the individual strengths and needs of each student. Deepika stays up-to-date on her CPD, so she always has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of pedagogy.

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.
Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.
All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.
You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.
You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your online course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.
Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.
If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
