Since completing my master’s in Chemistry at UCL in 2017, I have been working full time as a science tutor, specialising in chemistry. I am an incredibly passionate scientist and thoroughly enjoy teaching, sparking an interest in my students and building their confidence through learning. I have a strong academic record and know what it takes to succeed in examination, written and practical work. In my opinion, one of the most important tools is a genuine interest in the subject – having studied mathematical and physical sciences at a high level, this is something I posses and am always trying to encourage in those around me. I have experience teaching AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC at GCSE and A level as well as 11+, 13+, International Baccalaureate and Access Courses.

I aim to instil a deep understanding of science as well as developing problem solving skills, so that my students can take what they learn and apply it to other aspects of their life and education. I believe the only way to succeed is to truly understand the concepts and use them to solve the problem at hand – trying to memorise it all is impossible!
