Our two-day online GCSE Biology refresher course is designed to give students a thorough recap as they prepare to join Year 11.
This course will focus on everything covered in Year 10, using the AQA specification as a guideline. However, students studying for different exam boards can still participate as the aim of the course is to focus on refreshing content, not prepare for exams. During the two-day course, students will revisit key topics in GCSE Biology, strengthening their knowledge and identifying and polishing any weaker areas along the way.
In addition to these online classes, students will receive a selection of our tailor-made revision materials to support them during and after the course. Professionally printed and bound, these high-quality resources are designed to make course content as digestible as possible.
Helping to develop the confidence and skills to succeed, our refresher courses are an excellent way to prepare students for the final year of their GCSEs.

Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Jane takes a straightforward, confidence-building approach to teaching, ensuring biology content is easily understood and synoptic knowledge can thrive – along with the skills to apply it to challenging concepts. In addition to this, her experience as an examiner helps give her students the edge when it comes to polishing their exam technique and achieving high grades.
Laura is a seasoned biology teacher with more than 16 years of teaching experience, specialising in AQA and OCR A Level Biology. Her teaching expertise extends to all sciences at the GCSE level. Laura’s commitment to student success is evident not only in the classroom but also through her extensive experience in tutoring Biology, both in-person and online. As an examiner for AQA and OCR (at both GCSE and A Level), she possesses a comprehensive understanding of assessment criteria and exam technique, providing valuable insights to her students.
Known for her friendly and engaging manner, Laura enjoys interacting with her students, a sentiment that shines through in her teaching and tutoring sessions. Beyond the classroom, Laura loves spending time outdoors, especially when she’s swimming or immersing herself in the study of wildlife.

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.
Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.
All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.
You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.
You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.
Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.
If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
