I am a First Class Psychology graduate with a strong academic background in the subject, having studied Psychology at both A-Level and University.I specialise in supporting A-Level Psychology students, helping them strengthen their understanding of key topics, improve exam technique and build confidence ahead of their exams.

I tutor the AQA A-Level Psychology specification, covering all core topics as well as the optional units of Schizophrenia, Forensic Psychology, and Relationships. I also help students develop the skills needed to structure high scoring exam answers, including 16 mark essays.

I have extensive experience tutoring and adapting my approach to meet each student’s needs, ensuring every lesson is tailored to support the individual pupil.

My lessons are structured but supportive, with a focus on helping students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the activities and resources provided in lesson. I believe that a strong understanding of core concepts is essential, so I first ensure students can clearly explain previously learned content before introducing new topics.

A key part of my sessions is practising exam style questions, which helps students apply their knowledge, identify gaps in understanding and improve their exam technique. I also help students understand how the mark scheme works, particularly the assessment objectives AO1 (knowledge), AO2 (application) and AO3 (evaluation), so they can structure answers in a way that gains the most marks in exams.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated and fully prepared for their exams.
