I’ve recently graduated from the University of Bristol in Environmental Literature after a undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford, studying a BA in English Language and Literature. Currently, I teach English Language and Literature at a secondary school in london as an Academic Mentor. I’m happy to tutor all ages in English and History, as well as provide advice and help with applications for all universities, such as personal statements. I’ve helped students practice the ELAT aptitude test and tutored for interview practice. I’m also happy to talk and advise on any fears or concerns Oxbridge candidates have prior to their application. I’ve previously worked both within Oxford’s outreach systems and as an English Tutor, which I greatly enjoyed. Through teaching teaching English in schools, I have gained lots of experience working with young learners. Crucially, this role allows me to access teaching recourses for both GCSE and A-Level students from the school, which I can bring into my one-to-one tutoring sessions online. I also have training as a CELTA teacher, so am able to take on a few EFL students if desirable. Please message me if you'd like a lesson and we can arrange a time for our first session!
