Tutoring is my passion; I love learning, and I genuinely believe that learning in its own right is a virtue. Regardless of the student, everyone deserves to learn, and everyone deserves to feel the satisfaction from having ideas click and explained through the connections of science and the logic of maths.

Coming from a diverse background, I was born in Malaysia and moved to India, where I studied for my IGCSEs. After securing excellent results nation-wide, I moved to the UK to study for my A Levels at d'Overbroeck's College, Oxford. I took the subjects that I was passionate about, those being: Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and an EPQ in Quantum Biology, having achieved A*-A. This passion led me towards taking a BSc at the University of Manchester in Mathematics and Physics. I then further pursued for my MSc in Mathematics, and obtained a Distinction. After which, I have lectured for four years in the FE sector, additionally completing a Level 5 DET (Diploma in Education and Training).

In terms of my teaching experience I have lectured in - Access to HE: Science, Health Science and Medicine, BTEC Level 1 - 3 Applied Science, A Level Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths, T Level Laboratory Science, University maths/eng/phy entrance exams and UCAS guidance. My subject knowledge is extensive and I enjoy linking all the sciences together with maths.

The best type of tutoring depends solely on what you need. If you need to focus only on exams, I can give you a run-down of exactly what you need to revise for the exams, and what the important points are. If you need to focus on enriching your love for the subject, I can explain concepts within the sciences and mathematics to a level far beyond the scope of the syllabus.

Depending on the subjects you take and the hobbies you have, I teach in such a manner so as to incorporate your interests. I will tie links between all of your subjects, including your hobbies. This will help in understanding the material, not just in surface-level memorising.
