I’m Patricia, a Graduate Earth Scientist from the University of Oxford, and I now work full-time as a passionate private tutor specializing in Maths and Science. I’ve taught students from all over the world 🌍, and nothing is more rewarding than watching them grow, whether that's achieving top grades 📈, conquering exam stress 🧠, or finally enjoying a subject they once feared! 🚀

My goal is simple: to help students build confidence and master difficult concepts through clear, step-by-step explanations. I break down complex topics into manageable, bite-sized chunks, making learning less intimidating, applicable to real life and more rewarding. 😌

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me traveling or hanging out with my dog, Patches, who occasionally likes to make guest appearances in our lessons. 🐾

I take great care to explain things clearly, and will happily go over material multiple times, presenting it in different ways - through visuals, analogies, or real-world examples - until it properly makes sense to you. There's no judgment here, we move at exactly the pace you need. 

Each session follows a structured yet flexible format designed to build both understanding and confidence. We start with a recap of previous material to reinforce your learning, then work through core concepts together before practicing with guided examples. The real magic happens when we apply this knowledge to exam-style questions, where I'll share valuable strategies for tackling different question types efficiently. 

Between lessons, I provide curated practice questions and relevant past paper problems if you'd like extra material to work on - these are excellent for reinforcing what we've covered.
