I'm a second year Economics students at the Univeristy of Nottingham with a love for Maths and Economics. Having achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-level, I have a deeply rooted understanding of the subject and what is needed to achieve top marks. I also achieved A* grades in Economics and Geography, hence developing effective, efficient revision strategies. I've got 300+ hours experience tutoring A-level maths, so I know what works for different students. I also have 3+ years experience as a Scouts Young Leader, meaning I'm confident and experienced in working with young people.

I'm quite flexible with my tutoring. If the student would prefer fully planned out sessions, I have plenty of resources to put together an extremely beneficial lesson, whatever the topic. However, I'm also more than happy to work on questions the student brings to lessons, for example from maths papers completed at school. Whatever works for the student works for me.

I always try to teach in a conversional way, ensuring my students feel comfortable and confident; through this, I'm also able to test my student's understanding throughout their lesson, and as a result, students never go away confused or worried about what they just learnt.
