Hey! My name is Lennon, and I’m currently in my 3rd year of studies doing Medicine at Imperial College London. Studying at one of the most prestigious and well rounded medical schools in the world, I have learnt so much in the past few years that I can pass on to others. Academically, I have graduated the first two years on the deans list, representing the top 10% of students in the year. I’m an enthusiastic tutor who finds great happiness in seeing my tutees succeed and improve over time. 

My specialties involve tutoring for medical interviews and UCAT preparation, along with some of my A-Level subjects: maths chemistry and biology. I am familiar with OCR, AQA and Edexcel exam boards and will tailor your sessions to your specific needs.

I have experience tutoring both in groups and one on one in GCSE biology and chemistry. Recently, I have been tutoring a refugee, which I have found incredibly rewarding so far. I am also working towards certifications in Clinical and Medical Education, bringing everything I have been learning into sessions.

I have seen that often students don't understand underlying concepts, which can make tackling exam questions very challenging. With that in mind, I try to ensure my students actually understand what we do. When teaching, I try to actively involve students as much as possible, finding and highlighting strengths and weaknesses to tailor our session. I conduct interactive sessions with knowledge summaries and practice questions, before giving feedback and constructive criticism for students to take away with them. I also like to try and set goals / tasks for outside the lesson, to keep students engaged and learning throughout the week.

I will do my absolute best to deliver effective and efficient teaching. I can provide notes/ feedback from our sessions and work with you to provide a personalised plan and experience. Whether you need to learn the basics or fine tune the details, I can help you achieve your goals!
