Coupled with nearly a decade of tutoring experience, I hold a doctorate (PhD) in Computational Chemistry as well as masters (MSci) and undergraduate (BSc) degrees from UCL. I create bespoke teaching aids that complement my lessons, tailoring my approach to each student's strengths and weaknesses while ensuring full exam board coverage.

I prioritise understanding over rote memorisation, starting with fundamental concepts and progressively building upon them. I integrate structured techniques to enhance recall of key information.

To further enrich the learning experience, I design customised worksheets, videos, and revision guides tailored to each student's needs. As exams approach, I shift the focus to two crucial skills: exam technique and time management. By reviewing multiple past papers and mock tests, I identify areas for improvement, shaping the direction of subsequent lessons.

I understand that both parents and students aim to achieve a specific grade, so I work backwards from that goal to determine what needs to be done based on the student’s current level.

This is my full-time profession, and my lessons follow a structured approach:

● We begin by addressing any doubts from the homework set in the previous lesson.

● I then introduce the next topic, emphasising key points outlined in the specification.

● We work through questions from various textbooks, starting with guided support and gradually reducing assistance until students can confidently tackle problems independently.

● Finally, we address any remaining doubts from the lesson or clarify any issues from their school or university studies.
