I'm an experienced Physics tutor and educational consultant with 20 years of expertise and a proven track record of boosting student confidence, driving exceptional exam success, and guiding students into top university courses, including Oxford and Cambridge. As a qualified teacher with a degree in Physics, I have led Science faculties in leading UK independent and grammar schools, most recently at Roedean School in Brighton, and have worked extensively with secondary students across all the UK exam boards.

I provide structured, high-impact support through 1:1, small group and revision workshops, specialising in GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Physics. In addition to tutoring, I have worked as an examiner for both GCSE and IGCSE Physics, allowing me to guide students with clear, practical advice on how to meet assessment standards and raise their grades

I have collaborated with The Ogden Trust, led curriculum reforms and developed CPD programs focusing on teaching methodologies and assessment practices such as the use of AI in the classroom, to support fellow educators and tutors.

Quite simply, I love what I do. I am a dedicated and engaging teacher who is committed to inspiring students to achieve their very best through meeting their individual needs within a trusting, supportive and nurturing environment. My style of teaching is very interactive and requires students to take a proactive role in their learning to allow them to develop their understanding so that they can apply their knowledge in different contexts as required.

I am a reflective teacher and enjoy experimenting with new technologies and looking for new ways to deliver content to my students. I excel in developing resources which support students and am able to break topics down into key concepts and explain them in a clear way which instills confidence within my students which allows them to move forward with their understanding.

Following an initial consultation I ask parents/students to complete an onboarding questionnaire, so I have access students prior attainment data and a clear idea of exactly what the student needs. I then use this to tailor their sessions depending on what they need to succeed. We work collaboratively on an interactive whiteboard and I provide students will follow up questions to self mark to give them some ownership of their learning and to develop their exam technique.
