Hi, I’m Laura, a qualified teacher, experienced GCSE / A Level examiner, and literacy specialist with a proven track record of helping students exceed their target grades.

As an examiner, I know exactly what exam boards are looking for; the high-mark answers, the structure and the strategies that turn good work into top grades. Every summer I mark thousands of scripts, giving me insider insight that no standard tutor, teacher or graduate can offer.

I’ve been called a “magician” by parents for helping students rapidly boost grades and confidence, whether that’s making tricky texts accessible, helping ideas flow onto paper, or overcoming self-doubt.

With a First-Class degree in History, QTS, and a National Professional Qualification in Leading Literacy (NPQLL), I’ve taught across both primary and secondary, led English progress and Pupil Premium strategy, and supported learners of all abilities - including SEND and SEMH. I have truly taught students from all walks of life and at every level.
