I am a GCSE & A-Level Maths tutor with over 8 years of experience helping students build confidence, improve their understanding of difficult topics, and achieve strong exam results.

I hold a First-Class degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London and specialise in helping GCSE and A-Level Maths students improve both confidence and exam performance. Over the years, I have helped many students make significant progress in both confidence and performance. Many of my GCSE students improve by 2–3 grades, while A-Level students regularly achieve A and A* results by developing stronger problem-solving skills, clearer understanding, and effective exam technique.

My aim is not just to help students understand maths, but to help them feel calm, confident, and well prepared when approaching challenging exam questions. I work hard to build a positive and supportive relationship with each student so they feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and making steady progress.

Alongside maths, I also offer support for A-Level Economics, helping students strengthen their understanding of key theory, improve essay structure, and apply economic concepts effectively in exams.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each student’s current level, goals, and areas of difficulty.

My teaching style focuses on building clear understanding first, followed by structured practice with exam-style questions and past papers. This helps students not only learn the content, but also apply it confidently under exam conditions.

A typical lesson may include:

- Working through exam-style questions and past papers

- Developing strong problem-solving strategies

- Improving exam technique and avoiding common mistakes

I aim to create a supportive, encouraging, and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable tackling challenging topics and asking questions. I am also happy to provide extra practice questions and guidance between lessons where helpful, so students can continue making progress outside sessions.
