Hi, I’m Jake! A passionate A-Level Maths tutor with over a decade of experience helping students of all abilities build confidence and achieve their goals. Whether it’s securing a top university place or strengthening core understanding, I’ve now supported more than 270 students in reaching their potential.

I hold a First-Class Master’s degree in Mathematics and began tutoring in 2017 while completing my studies. After graduating, I spent a year teaching A-Level content to foundation year students before becoming a full-time online tutor in 2020. Since then, I’ve delivered over 5,000 hours of personalised lessons — making complex topics clear, intuitive, and approachable.

My flexible, student-focused approach ensures every lesson is tailored to individual needs. Helping students prepare effectively for exams, build lasting confidence, and develop a genuine understanding of maths.

Over the years, I’ve continually refined my teaching approach, drawing on my experience of supporting students with a wide range of needs and learning styles. Each lesson is an opportunity to adapt and grow alongside my students, ensuring that my methods remain effective and engaging.
