Fawziyah A.

Hi! I'm currently a student at King's College London studying medicine. I currently tutor A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Having achieved A's at A-Level I'm confident my expertise and skill set can aid students in achieving the grades they need. With a current cohort of 15+ A-level students, having achieved A's/A*s in their mocks, and have received offers from top universities in the UK.

Despite being from a disadvantaged background and low-performing school, I received offers to study medicine. I strongly believe I'll be able to address the needs of the individual students and assist them in applying to medicine, using my experience throughout this process. 

In my free time, I enjoy reading books and keeping in touch with the medical field by reading journals. I also have experience working with children from different backgrounds and needs as I volunteer in the Teddy Bear Hospital Society.

I teach using my iPad, I share my screen and allow students to interact. I do this by drawing out concepts and draw diagrams instead of using slides which may be monotonous. I also make sure to ask questions throughout to keep them engaged. 

Most importantly I work through exam questions in class and send weekly homework to consolidate information and clear up any doubts.
