Claire is an experienced A-Level Economics teacher and Head of Economics, with six years of teaching experience. She has also worked as an examiner for AQA and Edexcel Economics for the past five years, using this insight to provide students with targeted feedback that improves exam technique and essay writing.

She offers weekly essay marking and detailed feedback, helping students refine their extended essays and boost exam performance.

Claire brings real-world experience to her teaching, having worked as a government economist and as a Fellow in the prestigious ODI Fellowship, working for a foreign government. In addition to their lessons, students will receive up to two essays marked outside of the lesson with feedback. This approach supports steady improvement, sharpens writing skills, and builds the confidence needed to excel under exam conditions.

A discounted rate is available for students who do not require essay marking outside of lessons or prefer to receive live feedback on work during the lesson.
