About Me:

Welcome! I’m Aahad, a dedicated and passionate tutor specializing in Economics and Maths. With a first-class degree in Economics from University College London (UCL) and over 7 years of tutoring experience, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential.

My Background:

I graduated from UCL with top honors, earning a first-class degree in Economics. My academic journey began with exceptional success in A-levels, where I achieved 3 A* grades. During my time at UCL, alongside my rigorous coursework and intensive research, I dedicated myself to tutoring students. This experience allowed me to develop effective teaching methods and a passion for helping others understand and excel in Economics and Maths.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since 2017 (9+ Years), working with a wide range of students and helping over 100 achieve A/A* grades. I have also conducted PMT crash courses for students across the UK, where many have commented that the chains of analysis covered were points they had never previously considered or been taught. My experience has allowed me to refine a clear, high-impact teaching style that focuses on developing strong analytical thinking and exam-ready responses.

Economics:

I have been tutoring Economics since 2017, helping over 100 students achieve A/A* grades, with many improving rapidly from D grades to B/A within a few months.

I have also conducted PMT crash courses for students across the UK, where students consistently highlight the clarity and depth of my explanations - particularly noting that they have not seen chains of analysis explained to this standard before, using no resources other than my own original notes.

I provide students with detailed and comprehensive notes, saving them time searching for resources so they can focus on understanding and memorising key content. These notes are shared via a Google Doc, giving students instant access to high-quality materials.

Throughout the academic year, I cover the full specification in depth, ensuring students are confident with diagrams, precise definitions, and well-developed evaluation (advantages and disadvantages). I place strong emphasis on exam technique by regularly getting students to write structured paragraphs and develop clear chains of analysis.

Maths:

In Maths, my approach is clear, structured, and progressive. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to more challenging exam-style questions, with regular homework to reinforce learning. Students consistently describe me as the best maths tutor they’ve had, highlighting how clearly I explain concepts and how quickly their confidence improves.
