Oxford PAT Preparation Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

Join our intensive revision course for the Physics Admissions Test (PAT) to boost your confidence and get yourself in the best position possible for the upcoming exam. This dynamic two-day program has been carefully designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the PAT.

Day 1 of the course is dedicated to Physics, focusing on those areas that often extend beyond the standard school curriculum and may not be covered in time for the exam. Recognising that the PAT questions diverge from typical A Level problems, our course’s primary goal is to familiarise you with the unique question styles and help you master efficient answering techniques.

On Day 2, the focus shifts to Mathematics, ensuring you’re fully prepared for all aspects of the PAT. Our dedicated tutor will guide you through essential mathematical concepts and demonstrate how to approach problems methodically and effectively.

Bridging the gap between what you’ve learnt in school and PAT-specific content, you’ll be guided through critical topics where you’ll not only grasp the unfamiliar concepts but also learn how to confidently apply them to exam questions. During crucial past paper practice, you’ll receive invaluable insights into time-saving strategies and tips for tackling even the trickiest problems.

By the end of the course, you’ll have covered all the content and skills needed to excel in the Oxford PAT. Our approach goes beyond rote memorisation, empowering you with the tools to dissect complex problems, devise solutions, and handle challenges with confidence.
