Chemistry GCSE Exam Preparation Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

Our one-day GCSE Chemistry exam technique courses are the perfect way to prepare for Papers 1 and 2. Separate courses for each paper mean students can focus on the topics and skills they need for each paper. These can be booked separately or as a bundle.

Our tutors will walk students through the techniques they’ll need to achieve high marks, emphasising the best method for answering questions and illuminating the marking criteria used by examiners. Key practicals will be revised, and tutors will use these to teach pupils essential skills, including methods, data presentation, and finding uncertainties.

Full of tips and tricks to attain top marks, our GCSE Chemistry exam preparation courses will leave students confident and ready for their exams.

Suitable for:

  • Year 11 students
  • Students looking to improve their exam technique ready for their final exams
  • Year 10 students

Andreas B.

Andreas B.

Andreas is in his fifth year studying medicine at University College London. He did an intercalated bachelor’s in his third year and therefore holds a first class degree in Medical Sciences with Mathematics and Computing. Before studying medicine, he took a year out to tutor GCSE and A Level students full-time. He still loves to support others embarking on their own academic journeys, whether they need comprehensive tuition, coaching on their exam technique, or preparation for university interviews.

A popular tutor thanks to his warm and approachable personality, Andreas’ ethos is that top grades are made outside the classroom and that learning at home is key. He tailors his approach to the individual needs of each student, using effective tried-and-tested teaching methods to keep lessons fun, engaging and productive. Each lesson he delivers is built around the specific requirements of exam boards, meaning there’s always a focus on maximising marks.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Andreas you can find his profile on our tuition platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Haven't found what you're looking for? Please get in touch with our friendly team!

How do your online GCSE Chemistry revision courses work?

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.

Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.

All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.

When will I receive the Google Classroom link for my online revision course?

You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.

When will I receive my revision course handouts?

You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your online course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.

Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.

What if my exam board isn’t listed?

If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
