Our two-day online GCSE Biology refresher course is designed to give students a thorough recap as they prepare to join Year 11.
This course will focus on everything covered in Year 10, using the AQA specification as a guideline. However, students studying for different exam boards can still participate as the aim of the course is to focus on refreshing content, not prepare for exams. During the two-day course, students will revisit key topics in GCSE Biology, strengthening their knowledge and identifying and polishing any weaker areas along the way.
In addition to these online classes, students will receive a selection of our tailor-made revision materials to support them during and after the course. Professionally printed and bound, these high-quality resources are designed to make course content as digestible as possible.

Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Known for her calm and patient approach, Amy focuses on building strong foundations by continuously checking understanding to ensure students develop secure and lasting knowledge. A qualified Lead Practitioner, she has also trained and coached teachers at all stages of their careers, leading professional development initiatives across schools to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes. Amy’s proven track record of boosting student performance reflects her dedication to helping every learner reach their potential.

Suzanne holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Durham University and began her teaching career through the Teach First programme, earning Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). She has taught in both state and independent schools across London, gaining valuable classroom experience.
For the past nine years, Suzanne has specialised in tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, working both in-person and online, including with the National Tutoring Programme. As an examiner for a leading exam board, she provides expert insight into exam techniques and assessment criteria, helping students refine their approach.
Passionate about education, Suzanne believes that with the right support, every student can reach their full potential. She focuses on building confidence, mastering subject content, and developing effective revision and exam strategies tailored to each student’s needs.

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.
Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.
All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.
You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.
You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.
Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.
If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
