Course Description
Our Physics mock preparation courses will get students off to a flying start with their January mock preparation. Tutors will revise key Year 13 content which is likely to have been covered in the Autumn term. Attention will then be focused on improving exam technique. By showing students how to think like an examiner, tutors will enable students to consistently hit all assessment objectives and score those top marks. Getting the ball rolling early with revision means students will have time to work on any weaknesses identified by the course during the Christmas holidays. Having this time to consolidate the skills and knowledge learnt means students will be ready to ace their exams when they return to school.
Learners are supported beyond the courses through the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and original materials, including notes, guides and question booklets. These resources have been specially created to supplement the learning experience.

- Students who haven’t already been taught the topics in the course timetable
- Students who are predicted D or below

Structure of the Day
9:30am - 4:30pm (UK Time)
Classes are from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration starts from 9.15am.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break and a couple of 10 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Yllka E.
Yllka holds a degree in Physics and a PGCE in Physics with Maths, both of which she achieved from King’s College London. She discovered her passion for teaching while working in tuition centres across London, which only grew once she became a fully qualified teacher herself. Today she’s an experienced educator and has taught a wide variety of students from many different backgrounds.
Known for her friendly and approachable demeanour, Yllka has been tutoring online since the pandemic lockdowns. She enjoys using online tools and technology creatively to find fresh new ways to keep lessons engaging. Outside of teaching, Yllka enjoys baking sourdough bread, constructing Islamic patterns, and spending quality time with her two young daughters.

John W.
John is a fully qualified secondary teacher specialising in Physics and English, with a PGCE and over twenty years of teaching experience. He has taught physics in UK secondary schools and sixth forms and now tutors students online across GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level Physics, Maths, and English, helping them build both strong subject knowledge and effective exam technique.
Alongside his school teaching, John has extensive experience teaching academic writing and analytical essay skills at university level in both the UK and Finland. He holds a PhD in sociolinguistics, where his research focused on how arguments are structured in academic writing.
John’s personable teaching style and clearly structured lessons, create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging material. His lessons are built around working through questions together in dialogue, helping students make sense of ideas for themselves and gradually develop clearer, more confident ways of explaining their reasoning in both exam answers and essays.
Lewis M.
Lewis is a fully qualified teacher with a Master’s degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from the University of Nottingham. With over six years of experience teaching Physics, Maths, and Further Maths in UK schools and colleges, he brings both deep subject expertise and a strong understanding of exam requirements. His extensive experience in online tutoring further allows him to adapt lessons to students’ individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve success.
Specialising in supporting students who are anxious, have lost confidence, or require a patient and understanding approach, Lewis creates a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable tackling challenging topics.
