Hello! I'm Tom, a passionate and experienced A-Level Psychology teacher and tutor dedicated to helping students excel in their studies. I have recently tutored and taught multiple students from disappointing C grades in their mocks to achieving an A* in their A level exams. This is a result of a direct and methodical approach to student progress. I pride myself on high quality, tailored guidance for achieving top grades. I have a proven track record of outstanding results, which includes helping students working at lower grades, achieving above and beyond what they believe they are capable of.

As a current, fully qualified psychology teacher, examiner and successful tutor, I offer personalised tutoring tailored to each student's unique learning style and academic goals. My experience marking for the exam board gives my students the opportunity to master exam technique and maximise grades. Students often ask me to mark their practice papers and provide detailed feedback. I also have extensive education training for varying learning needs and disabilities including Dyslexia, ADHD and ASD.

All sessions are accompanied with a summary of the notes, top tips for revision based on the content/skills covered in the session, practice activities to reinforce learning and mastering exam questions.

I believe that learning should be engaging, enjoyable, and empowering. Through interactive lessons and targeted practice, I aim to boost confidence and motivation. I find students come away with a much stronger understanding of tricky topics as well as a better ability to score top marks in exams. I have particular expertise and success with research methods, in particular the 'statistical tests' topic and also essay writing and evaluation skills.
