I pride myself on creating an effective and friendly learning environment, which I believe allows students to excel and push themselves out of their comfort zone. Having taught for over a decade, I have worked with students across a wide range of abilities, from supporting students in getting offers from Harvard, Oxbridge and Imperial to helping students attain a Grade 5 in GCSE Maths. I am the lead Physics teacher in a leading independent school in London and have supported hundreds of students through GCSE and A Level as well as through university applications and exams including the TMUA, ESAT and STEP. I am also currently an examiner for GCSE OCR and A Level AQA Physics.

I have a flexible approach to tutoring and adapt to the tutees' needs and areas of struggle. I believe a good understanding of the fundamentals is critical for a tutee to succeed, not only with their current stage of education but also in the future. I try and build a comfortable atmosphere for the student so they don't feel intimidated or scared about asking questions. I also try and push them with their understanding, often asking questions beyond the stated question so that they fully understand what is happening in the situation. Finally, I have a long term view for my students and always build in regular revision into my sessions and homework to ensure that they remain at a strong level throughout the different topics. Students are offered a personalised revision timetable as well as practice papers marked to exam standard.
