I have graduated in my Masters in Physics with a grade of 2:1 from Lancaster University. I initally started off being homeschooled for GCSEs and so had to pick up a lot of the skills that helped me learn content on my own and perform well in my exams. I believe I am able to share this experience with students to help them identify habits and practices they can improve that will help them tackle problems they have been struggling with and improve their grade. I know how difficult it can be to have to tackle the stress of exams and topics with no direct guidance so I aim to help students to better understand the pain points in their learning habits and help them gain clarity on the learning process.

I am very committed to helping students improve in the topics they feel unconfident in and improve their ability to learn independently. My focus in the lessons is to work with the student to improve their process of learning by pointing out habits and skills that you would benifit from learning. I always find it helpful to have students bring their own questions and topics to the lessons as it gives me the best idea of what kind of content they are needing help with and helps me plan the lessons a lot more effectively. I am always interested in knowing what the student is hoping to achieve with tutoring as it helps me know how much depth they are intersted in going into and what skills they might find useful in the future. I am always open to feedback and willing to discuss what tutoring style is the best match for the student and what changes they might find most helpful.
