I have had over 12 years economics personal tutoring experience and already amassed over several thousand tuition hours with a large pool of clients! This has consisted of both face-to-face tutoring and online tuition. I have had residential tuition experience. For example, a few years ago I spent 3 weeks in Moscow tutoring an A level student who attends Harrow School. I have tutored online to students in areas as diverse as Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Poland, to name a few. My tutees have included A level, IB, undergraduate, post-graduate and pre-University students from a range of backgrounds and abilities, many of whom have attended the UK’s leading public schools: Eton, Harrow, Winchester and Westminster being amongst them. In addition, I have prepared students for 16+ entry examinations for Westminster, Alleyn's and Winchester school. Whilst I aim to ensure vigorous and thorough learning, my approach is patient and encouraging, designed to instil great confidence in the student. Many past tutees have achieved A*- A grades. 

Initially I make every student feel as comfortable and confident as possible. I use targeted scaffolding questioning, clear detailed explantions, and ensure scrupulous examination of the syllabus content. Resources such as past examination papers, PowerPoint slides, and current affairs articles are commonly used resources. Homework is set regularly, for example the setting of essays so that students have a clear roadmap towards achieving their desired attainment grade.
