With over 30 years of experience in scientific research and education, I am an accomplished Chemistry teacher, tutor, and examiner committed to helping students reach their full potential. I understand what is required to bridge the gap between classroom learning and exam success, and I specialise in developing students’ knowledge, confidence, and exam technique.

Having worked as a Science Teacher, Head of Chemistry, and Head of Science, I know how to elevate students’ skills and support them in overcoming barriers to learning. As an examiner, I offer invaluable insight into marking criteria, common misconceptions, and the exam-specific language needed to achieve top grades.

My goal is always to guide students towards clearer understanding, stronger technique, and maximised marks.

Each session is tailored to meet individual needs, with a safe and supportive learning environment that accommodates different learning styles to aid progression. My core strength lies in nurturing students’ confidence through bespoke, targeted teaching.
