I am a friendly and experienced Further Education College lecturer in A-Level Physics (OCR/AQA).I am an Oxford University graduate, with two Masters degrees (including a Masters in Computer Science), a first-class BSc in Physics, and a PGCE/QTS in Secondary School Science. 

I have taught a wide range of students of all abilities, many of whom have gone on to study for Physics-related qualifications at leading institutions. As well as many hours in the classroom, I also have extensive experience of remote teaching both at college during Covid-lockdowns, and as a private tutor. I also teach the well-reviewed OCR Physics intensive revision courses for the Physics and Maths Tutor website.

I aim to respond quickly to all queries, so if you're looking to fill in gaps in your knowledge, or if you need help to meet required grades, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

In my lessons I believe students should “do” as much as possible – we work through example questions, and you are then given time to try for yourself. I also firmly believe there are no “stupid” questions – some of the greatest insights in science have come from these. We also work on techniques to help you maximise your success in exams.
