I am a recently retired teacher with 34 years service teaching physics to GCSE and A level. I have been fortunate to work in outstanding schools with excellent academic reputations. I have taught many students who have gone to study physics and engineering at Russell Group universitiies. I have an excellent understanding of the physics specifications and can adapt my teaching to support students at any level. As part of my role I was responsible for developing the teaching skills of other teachers so I am an excellent classroom practitioner. I have considerable experience as an A level physics examiner and as a personal tutor teaching online to students across the country.

I have a wealth of resources designed to support students of all abilities. I develop a personalized curriculum for each student I teach. This is based of diagnostic assessment of the students understanding of the academic concepts along with the students confidence in answering examination questions. My lessons aim to explore, support the students and then allow them to apply what we have learned. Study skills and examination technique are vital and we build these over a sequence of lessons. I have a proven track record of developing all my tutor students and 100% parent satisfaction. Students make real progress in my tutorials.
