Hi! I'm Omar, an Economics student at the University of Warwick, the #1 ranked Economics department in the UK (The Times).

Alongside tutees achieving A*-B grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics, my students have continued on to secure offers at prestigious institutions including UCL, King's College London and the University of Warwick.

I have tutored many hours across GCSE and A-Levels, having been trained and employed by the Loxford School of Science and Technology (Ofsted Outstanding) from 2022 - 2024, and tutored privately since. 

I value myself most as a Tutor on my commitment to achieving and inspiring utmost excellence with tutees, broadening their perspectives and equipping them with key, enhanced mental skillsets as they move onto the next stages in their lives.

During my school studies, I notably achieved 95% (96/100, 95/100, 94/100) in my Mathematics A-Level exams, receiving recognition by the Redbridge MP Jas Athwal for Outstanding Academia.

Approach: My tutoring style is centered around creating a rigorous, but supportive and engaging learning environment where students are not only pushed past their academic limits, but also feel the comfort of having a compassionate learning companion and mentor ready to help with any and all challenges in their academic journey. 

Structure: Tutoring sessions typically follow a comprehensive UPEFD (Understanding, Practice, Examination, Feedback, Debrief) structure, to ensure mastery of all topics, regardless of initial level. Every student has individual needs, so the structure of my lessons are flexible to accommodate any preferences, allowing for ease and comfort in learning.

Homework: The notorious "H Word", an all time students' favourite! Flexible to accommodate for external restraints but tasks to be complete outside of sessions include but aren't limited to Preliminary Reading, Practice Papers, Examination Papers. Although most wince at the thought of extra work, it is those extra increments of effort which boost the B and C grades to the A's and A*'s.

Resources: Cohesive learning resources including but not limited to Practice Papers, Exam Questions, Specifications etc are all provided, but students are welcome and encouraged to also bring their own questions and queries, including exam papers, essays and more.

Expectations: All students are expected to: 

- Put in 100% effort

- Meet homework deadlines

- Ask questions!
