I am very enthusiastic about helping students to have a positive educational experience. I have taught Secondary aged pupils for over 20 years, and coached pupils that have really struggled with Science to pass their exams. I am also qualified to teach pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties, but all lessons are adapted to meet the needs of the tutee.

I am an inclusive educator and have taught across the Secondary age and ability range for over 20 years. My lessons are structured so that they are personalised, relatable and use guided practice to encourage my tutees towards independence. I use a variety of tools and resources to teach the concepts and ideas and to learn how to apply the Scientific knowledge when questioned. I am very focused on teaching pupils study skills, and ways of learning that can be applied across subject areas.
