I am an experienced tutor with several years of one-to-one and small-group teaching across GCSE and A-level courses. I have delivered extensive tuition in Maths and Economics, supporting students across a range of UK exam boards. I am highly familiar with exam specifications, mark schemes, and assessment objectives, and regularly help students prepare for written exams, problem-solving questions, and structured evaluations. Academically, I hold strong qualifications in Maths and Economics and have completed my BSc Economics degree. I have supported many students in achieving strong exam outcomes, exceeding target grades, and bring a solid academic background alongside practical exam preparation experience.

My lessons are structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Depending on where support is most required, this may involve consolidating topic foundations, building confidence with key methods, writing and refining essay plans, or completing targeted exam-style question practice.

I regularly begin sessions with short quizzes to reinforce prior learning, and use a range of active learning techniques such as worked examples, targeted problem drills, and spaced repetition. Exam preparation is a key focus, with regular practice using past paper questions and mark schemes. I am always happy to set and mark homework between sessions and support students with existing school work, adapting lessons as students’ needs develop over time.
