I am a fully qualified science teacher with a Human Biology degree. I have over five years of experience, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 and KS4 Students of all levels of ability and aptitude. Currently, I work as a full-time science tutor, providing both 1:1 and group sessions online and in person, including alternative provision for students unable to access mainstream education. This has sharpened my ability to personalise learning and adapt my teaching to meet diverse needs. 

Previously, I was a science teacher and Assistant Head of Year for vulnerable students at Woodbrook Vale School. I taught KS3 and GCSE science from 2018 to 2024 and supported students with pastoral and academic interventions. These roles helped me develop strong skills in safeguarding, building student rapport, and creating inclusive, well-managed classroom environments. I have a passion for motivating and inspiring students with a smile. My aim as a tutor, is to allow students to achieve their full potential; a crucial skill to passing any exam. 

I became a tutor because I genuinely love helping others learn in a way that makes sense to them. My personality naturally leans toward being empathetic, patient, and encouraging. As a conscientious and reflective tutor, I ensure my lessons are stimulating, challenging and dynamic. I understand the pressures of being in a classroom and the expectations faced at schools. My lessons include a pinch of humour and real-life examples, which students find relatable. All my lessons are planned from scratch and are in line with the specifications. My lessons include exam-style questions and mark schemes to tackle common misconceptions. The potential for students is limitless and I am looking forward to this journey.
