A teacher with 20 years classroom experience, I am passionate about Maths and enjoy teaching across the full range of abilities, from Foundation GCSE to Further Maths and university entrance exams and STEP papers. 

I currently teach Maths at KS3, GCSE, IB (AA SL and HL) and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, as well as preparing students for entrance exams such as TMUA, ESAT and STEP. 

For Further Maths I currently teach Pearson Edexcel CP1, CP2, FP1, FP2, FS1, FM1 and am able to support the following modules:

AQA – Core Further Maths content, Mechanics, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics

Pearson Edexcel – Core Pure 1 & 2, Further Pure 1 & 2, Further Statistics 1, Further Mechanics 1 & 2, Decision Mathematics 1

OCR A – Pure Core 1 & 2, Statistics, Mechanics, Discrete Mathematics, Additional Pure Mathematics

OCR B (MEI) – Core Pure, Mechanics major, Statistics major, Mechanics minor, Statistics minor, 

Edexcel IAL – Further Pure 1, 2 & 3, Mechanics 1, 2 & 3, Statistics 1, 2 & 3, Decision 1

I believe that confidence and self-belief are critical for a student's progress in Mathematics. I work with students to find their current level of competency, and use that as a basis to build from, ensuring a solid foundation and rigourous understanding - no shortcuts here! No question is too little or too silly - I work to give students confidence in their abilities, and help them to thrive academically.
