As an enthusiastic tutor, my mission is to ensure that each of my students feels supported and confident as they develop the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their exams.

I specialise in tutoring English Literature and Language with experience in the AQA, EDEXCEL, IGCSE and OCR exam boards. 

My love for language and literature is rooted in my academic journey, having graduated with a Masters in English from Oxford, following a BA from Durham University. After achieving all A*s at A-level and top grades at GCSE, I am driven to instil a similar drive for success in my pupils. My aspiration to pursue a PhD in Old Norse mythology fuels my passion for teaching. 

Every student should feel supported and encouraged to walk into their exams with confidence; my classes are student-centred, accessible for pupils with SEND, and adaptable to specific learning requirements. I am here to support and guide pupils on their learning journey, ensuring they not only succeed academically but also develop a lifelong love for learning.

My passions for gaming, music and rugby help me to connect with students on a personal level and create a friendly and inspiring tutoring environment.

I carefully craft each class to the student's level, needs and interests, instilling confidence while encouraging critical and creative thinking skills. In my lessons, the student comes first, where I believe in building content that is fun and personalised, using interactive tools like games, discussions and videos to cater to various learning styles. Every student deserves an inclusive learning environment, and I am committed to adapting my lessons to meet individual needs with care.

Each class is a space where students can ask questions, practise completing and exceeding challenges, and grow in their knowledge of English.
