I graduated from the University of Oxford this year, with a Congratulatory First in BA Experimental Psychology. I ranked top of my cohort, and have been nominated for the British Psychological Society's Undergraduate Award. I thoroughly enjoyed studying Psychology, and love being able to help students to engage with the subject and meet their potential. Having been through the Oxford admissions process I also understand how challenging it can be without guidance and support, so enjoy that I can use my experience and knowledge to help younger students. I have been tutoring for 2 years, and have experience with a wide range of ability levels. 

I always aim for my lessons to be the right balance of supportive and challenging, and ensure they are tailored to each individual student. My sessions are conversational and friendly, and I like to use analogies and research examples to help students to consider different ways to understand difficult concepts. I encourage a trusting environment with lots of questions and knowledge checks, to build students' confidence. I also imbed exam questions throughout to reinforce understanding, and show students their progress!
