I am currently studying for an English degree at the University of Cambridge, where I recently achieved a First Class in my first year. I studied English Literature, History, and Latin at A Level, achieving three A*s, after attaining ten grade 9s at GCSE, including a perfect score of 100% in English Literature. Having only recently experienced public examinations and the Oxbridge English admissions process, I can offer guidance on navigating GCSEs, A Levels, the ELAT, personal statements and interviews. I am especially interested in interdisciplinary approaches to English Literature, incorporating Classics, History, and Philosophy with close linguistic analysis and have been recognised for my work with first place in the Erasmus Essay Prize and a commendation in the St John's College, Oxford Classics and Ancient History Prize. 

I focus on the individual needs of each student, targeting sessions on areas of difficulty and essay-writing technique. I blend exam-orientated rigour with an emphasis on bringing out the personal passion of each student for literature. It is all too easy for this to be lost in the course of exam preparation, but it is essential to give students the necessary drive and passion to achieve their full potential.
