Claire has been great at helping me with my essays and exam technique- really thorough and knowledgable

I’ve had around 6 sessions now with Claire and I never received so much help that’s useful. I had a target grade of U in Economics and now I’m looking at a B or a high C with the work I do with her. She helped me learn content quickly and properly understand it aswell with pasds questions and close analysis on feedback. Thank you and I recommend her.

I would highly recommend Claire as an A-level Economics tutor. She was very knowledgeable of the A-Level Economics syllabus and gave particularly good advice on exam technique and how to write to the mark scheme. She asked in advance each week which areas my son wanted to cover, and was happy to read essays he had written in order to give feedback. Areas which he had found tricky in class were very clearly explained by Claire. He felt so much more confident heading into his A-Level exams having had these sessions.

I am really thankful for Claires tutoring, as she has really been helping me with keeping up with context whilst I am not able to attend my classes. Her style of teaching has been really easy understandable. She also helped me improve my writing technique for exam question, something which I have been struggling with to comprehend.

My son Will in year 13 began having one to one lessons in economics with Claire just before Christmas and he's already jumped from a D to one mark off a B in his mocks. Claire is going through each topic by setting Will questions each week and they then review it. Claire provides additional content and the marking scheme, this is really helping Will to clearly focus and structure on what is required to achieve a top mark. The lessons are all recorded and uploaded so that Will can use them as a revision tool. We cant thank Claire enough as Will is just growing on confidence every week.

I can’t recommend Claire highly enough! She has worked magic with my son. He scraped a C in his end of year 12 Economics exam and he has just achieved an A in his mock. Economics is now my son’s favourite subject! He now understands economic concepts and how to write a good economics essay! Claire has also given my son a lot of confidence and he now believes he can do well in the subject! If your child is struggling with Economics Claire is the tutor you need!

Claire has been a fantastic maths tutor for my daughter. She has tailored her tuition to maximise my child’s chances at GCSE and focused on the key skills necessary to improve her performance. I couldn't recommend this tutor more.
I came to Claire in a state of panic and desperation, two days before my economics AS essay exam. I can count on a single hand the amount of A level economics lessons I actually attended in school this year. The only knowledge that I had, stemned from having done gcse economics. But thanks to Claire, after only four tutoring sessions, I was prepared and was quite content with the paper I ended up handing in.
Her teaching style is very active, engaging and inviting. I was afraid of being judged or shamed for my lack of preparation, but was relieved to find quite the opposite, Claire approached my situation with a hopeful and focused attitude, which ended up getting me through it.
Now I don't recommend taking my last minute approach to an exam, but I do really recommend this tutor.
