Hey! My name is Chloe and I have really enjoyed tutoring since starting in 2023. I love tutoring Geography, and I am currently studying it as an undergrad at Newcastle Univeristy. 

At University, I tend to focus my modules more so on Human Geography, with my favourite topics being centred around sense of place and globalisation. I still really enjoy physical geography, and took geology as an A-Level option. 

I have the most expereince with AQA GCSE and A Level Geography, as well as Edexcel A Level Geography. I have a surplus of homemade teaching resources, which have been tried and tested with many students, all of whom found the materials extremely engaging and helpful

I can also tutor KS3 and GCSE English Language and Literature, my favourite subject areas are creative writing, poetry and An Inspector Calls. I also have experience teaching Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Romeo and Juliet, and A Christmas Carol.

Depending on your child's needs, I have PowerPoints covering every part of the exam board's specification, with explanations ranging from the basics to more detailed content. For students aiming for Grade 9s or A/A*s, I also bring in extra ideas and examples that go beyond the specification to help them stand out.

My PowerPoints include mini questions throughout to keep students engaged and check their understanding, before finishing with an exam-style question to put everything into practice.

As mocks and exams get closer, lessons become even more tailored to each student. We focus much more on exam questions, using both past paper questions and ones I've created myself to target the areas they need the most help with.
