Chloe W.

Hey! My name is Chloe and I have really enjoyed tutoring since starting in 2023. I love tutoring Geography, and I am currently studying it as a third year undergraduate at Newcastle Univeristy.

I recieved an A* in Geography A Level as well as a B in A Level Geology.

I have the most expereince with AQA GCSE and A Level Geography, as well as Edexcel A Level Geography. I have a surplus of homemade teaching resources, which have been tried and tested with many students, all of whom found the materials extremely engaging and helpful.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive and tailored to each student's individual needs. I adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles and abilities, making sure students fully understand a topic before moving on. Whether we're working through the basics or exploring more challenging concepts, I encourage students to get involved, ask questions and build confidence in their knowledge.

Throughout lessons, I use a range of practice questions to check understanding and encourage students to apply what they've learnt. For students aiming for Grade 9s or A/A*s, I also introduce more challenging ideas, real-world examples and additional content to help them develop a deeper understanding and stand out in their exams.

As mocks and exams approach, lessons become increasingly focused on exam technique. We work through past paper questions and tailored exam-style tasks, identifying areas for improvement and developing the skills needed to achieve the highest possible marks. I am more than happy to read over essays/question answers that we have both covered in a lesson together, or go over student's real mock papers.
