Hi my name is Arsa! I am a fourth year medical student at Imperial College London. I have tutored students for 4 years for a range of subjects, from the 11+ to GCSE and A-Level Sciences and Maths . I have also tutored numerous aspiring medical students with their UCAT, personal statements and medicine school interviews and several of my students have received offers from their first-choice medical schools. My approach is tailored to each individual's learning style, strengthening their understanding and achieve their full academic potential.

As a tutor, my goal is to help every student not only understand the subject but also gain the confidence to apply their knowledge successfully in exams. Every lesson is centred around two key principles: understanding and application.

I begin every session with a short recap from the previous lesson to ensure long term retention. I then ensure students develop a strong understanding of the topic through clear explanations. Once they are confident with the content, we focus on applying that knowledge to a wide range of exam-style questions. I help them recognise patterns, tackle unfamiliar problems and maximise their marks in exam conditions. After each lesson, I will provide exam questions to consolidate what has been taught in the lesson. 

Having recently completed my own GCSEs, A Levels, and the journey into medical school, I understand the challenges students face when trying to bridge the gap between learning content and using it effectively in exams. Throughout my studies, I discovered revision and exam techniques that transformed my own performance, and I introduce these strategies early on so that my students can benefit from them from the very beginning.

For students applying to Medicine, I offer comprehensive support throughout the admissions process. Having achieved a highly competitive UCAT score and delivered UCAT webinars, I teach strategies to improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making across every section of the exam. My interview preparation focuses on helping students develop structured, authentic, and confident answers, with model responses, personalised feedback, and realistic mock interview practice. I also provide detailed guidance on personal statements, reviewing multiple drafts and helping students present their experiences in a way that stands out to admissions tutors.

Above all, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and enjoyable and push students to reach their full potential.
