My name is Alexis and I have been teaching economics for over 15 years. I also have over 500 hours private tutoring and 3 years A Level marking under my belt. I pride myself on my rapport with students and my ability to make seemingly remote economic models and theories relevant to my audience, whatever their circumstances.

I am also aware that many pupils need their confidence boosted for exam technique and this is something that I have an execellent track record of improving and something I enjoy doing.

Economics is my passion and I love inspiring young minds to enjoy the subject and it is through that enjoyment that they begin to enjoy their learning.

I have an informal style and am on first name terms with mutual respect. Initial lessons will be focused on my assessment of their level of sophistication in the subject through a number of exercises. In that process, I will learn where strengths need to be improved and this will complement the feedback from students on which topics they would like to focus.

For each lesson and topic I have a variety of exercises that help the student to understand the topics, as opposed to learning it. I will consistently refer back to our learming through MCQs and short answers that I will fire to the students within lessons and for homework. 

Overall, I aim to make the lessons enjoyable such that the students looks forward to lessons.
