I am an established teaching and learning practitioner with experience and a proven track record across mainstream, independent, and private education sectors in both London and southeastern Europe. My background includes classroom teaching, Head of Year responsibilities, EHCP and Annual Review coordination, and service on a Senior Leadership Team (SLT), giving me a comprehensive understanding of student achievement, pastoral support, and school improvement.

My experience includes working with, and facilitating the progress of, learners who have English as an Additional Language (EAL), as well as those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other barriers to learning.

I have worked in both group and one-to-one settings, supporting students from Reception through to Undergraduate level, with particular expertise in Key Stages 3 and 4.

I specialise in preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature and have extensive experience with AQA (for whom I am an examiner) and Edexcel IGCSE, as well as Eduqas, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS & A Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) specifications.

I begin by identifying where each student is in their learning journey, including any gaps in knowledge, reading/writing skills, or exam technique. I then develop a targeted plan and we work together to address those areas. As lessons progress, I adapt my teaching to suit each student's pace, progress, and individual learning style. My sessions are carefully planned, goal-orientated, and tailored to the needs of every learner. As a full-time tutor working across several organisations, I pride myself on delivering bespoke, student-centred learning.

I strive to create an environment in which my students feel heard, supported, challenged, and empowered. My approach balances structure with flexibility, ensuring sustained progress while remaining responsive to evolving needs.

I believe that effective teaching begins with a clear understanding of the desired outcome. By designing lessons that are closely aligned with examination specifications and individual goals, I help students reach their full potential through engaging, thoughtful, and meaningful learning experiences.
