Hello! I'm Aleena - prize-winning First-Class Biomedical Science Master's graduate from two Russell Group universities, with A*AA at A-Level, 8A*, 3A at GCSE and 3+ years of private and school tutoring experience. To achieve these grades, I developed strong revision techniques, completed countless practice questions, and studied examiners' reports. This has given me years of experience in experimenting with methods and techniques to improve exam performance, not just for myself but also for a wide range of students working at different levels. I aim to create a positive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and suggesting answers even when you're unsure, so you can learn and grow at your own pace without feeling like you're being put on the spot. In a typical lesson, I'll walk you through a topic while assessing your understanding and guide you through worked examples to build your confidence until you're comfortable with leading. Our lessons will be exam-focused and you'll have plenty of opportunities to answer practice questions while I offer tips on exam technique, key term use and how to structure your reponses to gain the maximum number of marks in the fewest words.
