Hello! I'm Aleena - prize-winning First-Class Biomedical Science Master's graduate from two Russell Group universities, with A*AA at A-Level, 8A*, 3A at GCSE and 3+ years of private and school tutoring experience. To achieve these grades, I developed strong revision techniques, completed countless practice questions, and studied examiners' reports. This has given me years of experience in experimenting with methods and techniques to improve exam performance, not just for myself but also for a wide range of students working at different levels. I'm excited to share my knowledge with you to help you reach your goals more efficiently!

I'll work with you to understand your needs, learning style and areas of focus to create a personalised study plan. All of my lessons are supported by original presentations, packed with visual illustrations and plenty of practice/ exam questions that we’ll work through together. You’re more than welcome to keep these materials for revision :) 

As a tutor, I aim to create a safe and positive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, so you can learn and grow at your own pace without any pressure.

A typical session might include a short starter to recap the previous lesson’s content, followed by the content we agreed upon. I'll walk you through the topic while assessing your understanding and guiding you through worked examples to build your confidence. To keep lessons exam-focused, we'll use the exam board specification to set clear objectives and cover key terms. You’ll then have the opportunity to answer practice questions, and I'll offer tips on exam technique and insights from examiners' reports.
