I am an experienced teacher of A level Maths, Further Mathematics and GCSE Mathematics having taught in sixth form colleges for the last 18 years. My students get outstanding results which are significantly above the national average. I can teach a range of abilities from preparing students for A level and GCSE exams and also MAT, AEA and STEP entrance examinations. I am an examiner for Edexcel A level Mathematics and have experience of teaching international students.

I like to be as interactive with the student as possible and ask lots of questions to assess learning. I am patient with students and work at a pace which is best for students to progress their learning. I like to challenge and extend students and really make them think about what they are doing. I will be well prepared for the lesson but am flexible enough to change the lesson to suit the individual needs of the learner.
