Hi! I'm Omar, an Economics undergraduate at the University of Warwick, the #1 ranked Economics department in the UK (The Times). My research interests are in Financial Markets and Econometrics.

I have 4+ years experience across GCSE and A-Levels, having been trained and employed at the Loxford School of Science & Technology (Ofsted Outstanding) from 2022 - 2024, and have taught 160+ hours on PMT since. My students have continued on to secure offers at prestigious institutions including the LSE, UCL, KCL and Warwick.

I value myself most as a Tutor on my commitment to achieving and inspiring utmost excellence with my tutees, broadening their perspectives and equipping them with key, enhanced mental skillsets as they move onto the next stages in their lives.

During my school studies, I notably achieved 95% (96/100, 95/100, 94/100) in my Mathematics A-Level exams and 90% in Further Maths Core Pure 1 and 2, receiving recognition by the MP Jas Athwal for Outstanding Academia.

Approach: My tutoring style is centered around creating a rigorous, but supportive and engaging learning environment, focused on understanding, where students are not only pushed to new academic limits, have the comfort of a compassionate learning companion and mentor to help with any and all challenges in their academic journey. 

Structure: The structure of my lessons are flexible to accommodate for students' needs, allowing for ease and comfort in learning. Typically, lessons will consist of content coverage, technique and exam questions practice.

Homework: The notorious "H Word", an all time students' favourite! Flexible to accommodate for external restraints but tasks to be complete outside of sessions include but aren't limited to Preliminary Reading, Questions by Topic, Examination Papers. 

Although most wince at the thought of extra work, it is those extra increments of effort that boost the B and C grades to the A's and A*'s.

Resources: Cohesive learning resources including but not limited to Practice Papers, Exam Questions, Specifications etc are all provided, but students are welcome and encouraged to also bring their own questions and queries, including exam papers, essays and more.

Simply, all students are expected to: 

- Put in 100% effort

- Engage actively

- Be curious, and ask questions!
