Maria W.

I have been tutoring A level physics online and face to face for 7 years and also help students prepare for the ESAT and competitive university and job interviews. I taught A level physics at a sixth form college (HSDC Alton) and a school sixth form (Bohunt Liphook Sixth Form) for 5 years. I have also taught GCSE physics/combined science in two large comprehensive schools. Before teacher training I worked as an engineer, giving me plenty of practical examples to illuminate my lessons.

As a physics tutor, my goal is to make science exciting, accessible, and rewarding for every student. With years of professional teaching and engineering experience, I combine academic expertise with the practical knowledge to bring physics to life.

Whether that means simplifying tricky concepts, showing how physics connects to everyday life, or guiding ambitious learners through applications to top employers and universities, I tailor my approach to each student’s needs.
