I'm an experienced UK qualified Business & Economics teacher, with 15 years as Head of Department. I specialise in A-Level, GCSE, and IGCSE Business and Economics, and have consistently helped students exceed their academic targets. I've also worked as a Cambridge International Business examiner for four seasons, an insight that enables me to guide students in mastering exam technique and maximising their marks. Many of my students have improved by two full grade levels — with several IGCSE students even achieving A grades in the Cambridge AS exam while still in Year 11.

Whether you're aiming for top grades or simply need support to secure a pass, I tailor my approach to meet each student's unique needs. In addition to my teaching credentials, I bring 25 years of real-world business experience in a senior role within a FTSE 100 environment. This allows me to bring classroom theory to life and help students score highly in AO2 application – a critical skill in Business & Economics exams.

I hold an MBA from Christ Church, Canterbury and have taught internationally for 11 years as HoD. I hold a UKCC Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification. I'm a father, a husband, and a keen chess player — all of which shape my down-to-earth, supportive, and motivating teaching style. 

I offer personalised lesson planning - my online lessons rely on visual presentation, usually through bespoke PPTs, where content is linked to a specific syllabus. My lessons always run longer than an hour and I usually start a little early. I generally do most of the talking, but welcome questions throughout. After the lesson I offer free access to high-quality revision materials, sharing my PPTs and revision video links, or exam questions for homework.
